Synthesis, characterization and gas adsorption analysis of solvent dependent Zn-BTC metal organic frameworks

Leena Aftab et al.

Summary: The study shows that solvent choice affects the textural properties and gas adsorption capacities of MOFs, with high surface area MOFs demonstrating better adsorption. There is a possibility of using low-cost solvents instead of expensive solvents for MOF synthesis without compromising gas adsorption performance.
