He Guo et al.

Summary: In this study, non-thermal plasma coupled with graphene-TiO2-Fe3O4 nanocomposites was used to promote the degradation of oxytetracycline in water. By optimizing parameters such as doping amount, catalyst dosage, peak voltage, air flow rate, and pH value, a high removal efficiency of oxytetracycline was achieved. Various analytical techniques were employed to explore the degradation process and reactive molecular dynamical simulation showed good agreement with experimental observations, providing insight into the reaction mechanisms.

An electrochemical aptasensor based on bifunctional Fe3O4@Au nanocomposites for adenosine triphosphate assay

Xin Jin et al.

Summary: The label-free electrochemical aptasensor described in the study uses bifunctional Fe3O4@Au nanocomposites for ATP detection. The sensor shows a rapid decrease in current signal when exposed to ATP, as the ATP-specific aptamer prefers binding to ATP over methylene blue. This decrease in current can be utilized for electrochemical determination of ATP, such as in human serum samples.
