A highly efficient and suitable spectral profile Cr3+-doped garnet near-infrared emitting phosphor for regulating photomorphogenesis of plants

Summary: A novel near-infrared phosphor, GLGA:Cr3+, was developed with excellent optical performance for regulating photomorphogenesis of plants. A phosphor-converted LED with high photoelectric conversion efficiency was fabricated, demonstrating enhanced biomass of pea seedlings under supplementary near-infrared light irradiation. This research opens up avenues for further investigation into Cr3+ -doped near-infrared phosphors for plant photomorphogenesis regulation.

Bi3+/Mn4+ co-doped dual-emission phosphors for potential plant lighting

Summary: In this study, an environmentally friendly phosphor emitting both blue-cyan and deep-red lights was successfully synthesized by co-doping Bi3+ and Mn4+ ions. A far-red phosphor LaSrZnNbO6:Mn4+for plant growth lighting
