Mathematical modeling of therapeutic neural stem cell migration in mouse brain with and without brain tumors

To study the migration of NSCs in the brain, a mathematical model is developed to investigate the efficacy of NSC treatment. The model considers the three-dimensional geometry of the brain, chemotaxis, and stochasticity of migration speed and chemosensitivity. The model is used to study NSC migration patterns for different injection strategies, revealing the relative fraction and distribution of NSCs at tumor sites.
