Thermal properties of surface-modified nano-Al2O3/Kevlar fiber/ epoxy composites

Summary: This study aims to enhance the thermal properties of Kevlar fiber reinforced epoxy composites by using surface modified Al2O3 nanoparticles. The results showed that the surface-modified Al2O3 nanoparticles exhibit good thermal stability and thermal barrier properties, with the optimum addition being 3 wt%.

Structural, mechanical, radiation shielding properties and albedo parameters of alumina borate glasses: Role of CeO2and Er2O3

Summary: The study investigated the impact of CeO2 and Er2O3 on the physical, structural, and mechanical properties of a B2O3-Na2O-Al2O3 glass composition. CeO2 and Er2O3 doping affected radiation shielding properties and optical properties, with 1 mol% Er2O3 showing a better reduction in reflectivity of gamma rays compared to 1 mol% CeO2. The structural and mechanical properties of the doped borate glasses were also examined and compared.

The effect of Co and Mn Co-Doping on structural and optical properties of ZnO thin films

Summary: In this study, Co and Mn co-doped ZnO thin films were prepared using the sol-gel spin coating method, and their structural and optical properties were investigated. The results showed that the co-doping effect created a stable nanofiber-like structure and resulted in a higher optical band gap.

Quasi-Static Penetration Behavior of Glass-Fiber-Reinforced Epoxy Nanocomposites
