Growth and Helicity of Noncentrosymmetric Cu2OSeO3 Crystals

Aisha Aqeel et al.

Summary: Cu2OSeO3 single crystals are grown using an optimized chemical vapor transport technique with SeCl4 as a transport agent, allowing selective production of large high-quality crystals. The method consistently produces Cu2OSeO3 crystals up to 8 x 7 x 4 mm in size within a transport duration of approximately three weeks. The crystals exhibit high quality and their absolute structures are fully determined by simple single-crystal X-ray diffraction, with enantiomeric crystals showing left- or right-handed chiralities. Magnetization and ferromagnetic resonance data confirm the previously reported magnetic phase diagram.

Microwave Spectroscopy of the Low-Temperature Skyrmion State in Cu2OSeO3

Summary: In the cubic chiral magnet Cu2OSeO3, novel magnetic states including low-temperature skyrmion state and tilted conical state were observed. Dynamic resonances of these magnetic states were studied, revealing resonant modes associated with different states and the interaction between them.

Tunable cooperativity in coupled spin-cavity systems

Lukas Liensberger et al.

Summary: The experiment focused on the tunability of cooperativity in coupled spin-cavity systems by changing the magnetic state of the spin system using an external control parameter. The model system used was Cu2OSeO3 material coupled to a microwave cavity resonator, showing a strong tunability of the normalized coupling rate by magnetic field. The results allow for changing the magnon-photon cooperativity from 1 to 60 at the phase boundaries of the skyrmion lattice state.
