Structural, dielectric, and magnetic properties of CaBaCo2-xZnxNdyFe12-yO22 Y-type hexaferrites

Muhammad Nadeem et al.

Summary: A series of nanocrystalline Ca-Ba-Co-based Y-type hexaferrite materials were successfully prepared using sol-gel autocombustion technique, and their structural and magnetic characteristics were analyzed. The results show that increasing dopant concentration leads to a decrease in dielectric parameters, while the prepared samples exhibit good saturation magnetization and coercivity, making them suitable for high-frequency applications.

Effects of La substitution on micromorphology, static magnetic properties and low ferromagnetic resonance linewidth of self-biased M-type Sr hexaferrites for high frequency application

Yue Dai et al.

Summary: SrM-type hexaferrites are widely used in millimeter/microwave ferrite devices, and the addition of La in Ca-La-Co-substituted SrM ferrites has been shown to have a significant impact on the micromorphology, magnetic properties, and FMR linewidth of the samples. The La substitution led to changes in saturation magnetization, coercivity, anisotropy field, and FMR linewidth of the ferrites. The study concluded that the sample with a La substitution content of x=0.3 exhibited the best performance for high-frequency self-biased devices and microwave engineering applications.

Enhanced structural and dielectric properties of calcium and chromium based M-type hexagonal ferrites

Muhammad Zahid et al.

Summary: M-type hexaferrites with composition Ca1-xCrxFe12O19 were synthesized using the sol-gel auto-combustion method. The structural, morphological and dielectric properties of the samples were studied, revealing single-phase magnetoplumbite structure after annealing. The dielectric parameters measured suggest potential applications in high-frequency technologies like microwave absorbers and phase shifters.

Structural, morphological, dielectric and magnetic properties of Ba1-xCrxFe12O19 M type hexaferrites

Muhammad Zahid et al.

Summary: In this study, chromium-doped M-type hexaferrites were prepared using sol-gel auto-combustion technique and characterized using XRD and SEM. The results showed that lattice parameters, crystallite size, and cell volume decreased with increasing Cr3+ concentration, while dielectric constant increased gradually. These samples are suitable for high frequency applications.

Summary: In this study, X-type ferrites of Sr2CuxNi2-xCrxFe28-xO46 were fabricated using a micro-emulsion procedure. It was found that the incorporation of Cr3+-Cu2+ metals affected the lattice constants and magnetic properties of the ferrites. The materials showed potential for high frequency applications, with significant variations in dielectric and magnetic parameters observed with Cr3+-Cu2+ doping.
