Sex omission and male bias are still widespread in cell experiments

Jun Yeob Kim et al.

Summary: Integrating sex as an important biological variable is crucial for enhancing the accuracy and reproducibility of cell-based studies. While there has been progress in reporting cell sex, sex omission and male bias are still common issues. Collaborative efforts are needed to boost the implementation of sex-considerate research in basic biomedical studies.
