Summary: The study found that patients with ulcerative colitis (UC) are diagnosed earlier but tend to have worse survival, particularly in terms of nodal disease (stage III). Patients with Crohn's disease (CD)-related CRC appear to have the worst survival compared with both the sporadic and UC groups.
