Summary: The review examines the effectiveness of accommodation-based approaches on outcomes like housing stability, health, employment, crime, wellbeing, and cost for individuals experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness. The diverse nature of literature and the implementation of approaches created a challenge in categorizing interventions. Accommodations providing support were found to be more effective in improving housing stability and health compared to no intervention or basic/unconditional accommodation. Collaboration and coordination between stakeholders and practitioners were highlighted as important factors in addressing homelessness.
