Comprehensive volatile organic compound measurements and their implications for ground-level ozone formation in the two main urban areas of Vietnam

To Thi Hien et al.

Summary: Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and oxygenated VOCs (OVOCs) were measured in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, Vietnam, to understand their atmospheric composition and role in ground-level ozone formation. Results showed that motorcycle-related emissions likely contribute to VOC pollution, and alkenes and aromatics are the main contributors to reactivity and ozone potential formation.

Indoor concentrations of PM2.5and associated water-soluble and labile heavy metal fractions in workplaces: implications for inhalation health risk assessment

Efthalia Kogianni et al.

Summary: This study measured PM2.5 and water-soluble heavy metal concentrations in indoor air of workplaces in Alexandroupolis, Northeastern Greece, finding significant variances in PM2.5 concentrations and water-soluble metal concentrations among the different workplaces. The study also calculated cancer and non-cancer risks associated with inhalation of water-soluble and labile metal fractions bound to indoor PM2.5.

Analysis Study of Current Transportation Status in Vietnam's Urban Traffic and the Transition to Electric Two-Wheelers Mobility

Duc Nguyen Huu et al.

Summary: This paper discusses the transition to greener and more efficient alternative vehicles, such as electric two-wheelers, in Vietnam's major cities to address the issues of traffic congestion and environmental pollution caused by a large number of motorcycles. Recommendations for encouraging the development of these vehicles are also highlighted.
