Linked color imaging improves the diagnostic accuracy of eosinophilic esophagitis

Summary: This study assessed the usefulness of linked color imaging (LCI) in the endoscopic diagnosis of eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE). The results showed that WLI+LCI images had a higher diagnostic accuracy for EoE compared to white light images (WLIs), especially for non-expert endoscopists. Additionally, the use of LCI technology improved the inter-observer agreement and reduced diagnostic disparities among endoscopists.

Expert consensus provides recommendations for post-surgical monitoring, but there is limited data regarding surveillance for ileoanal pouch.
