Job Insecurity, Employability and Financial Threat during COVID-19

Summary: COVID-19 has disrupted social and economic life, leading to widespread job loss, job insecurity, and financial threat. This study examined the relationship between employability, job insecurity, and financial threat during the pandemic. The results showed that financial self-efficacy was associated with greater employability and less job insecurity and financial threat.

This Will Blow Your Mind: examining the urge to click clickbaits

Summary: This research demonstrated that curiosity, perceived enjoyment, and surveillance are significant predictors of Internet users' urge to click clickbaits. Thumbnail clickbaits were found to generate a higher urge to click compared to text-only clickbaits. The study also showed that the relationship between the gratification of passing time and the urge to click is moderated by IEB.
