A complete 30416-nucleotide Cervid atadenovirus A genome was identified and analyzed from tissues of black-tailed deer in British Columbia, Canada that died in 2020. Unique nonsynonymous single-nucleotide polymorphisms in the E1B, Iva2, and E4.3 coding regions, as well as a deletion of 74 nucleotides, were found, which were not observed in isolates from moose and red deer.
