Summary: Drawing on institution embeddedness and the resource-based view, this study examines how intra-national innovation ecosystems and environmental institutions influence the technological innovation and green practices of logistics service providers (LSPs), using survey data from 328 Chinese LSPs. The findings reveal that intra-national environmental institutions can mitigate LSPs' reliance on their firm-specific advantages when engaging in technological innovation and green practices, and that intra-national innovation ecosystems positively moderate the effects of environmental institutions.
