Factors affecting sustained adoption of irrigation water-saving technologies in groundwater over-exploited areas in the North China Plain

Summary: This study found that water scarcity plays a significant role in adoption and sustained adoption of water-saving technologies in households in the North China Plain. Membership in cooperative organizations significantly improves the likelihood of sustained adoption, while the number of plots negatively affects sustained adoption.
