Peter Tangney

Summary: This paper examines the evolving meanings of climate denial and how Climate Deniers can exhibit rationality, as well as the intimate relationship between rationality and problem framing. By better understanding the rationalities associated with the climate change debate, experts and advocates can tailor their communication to more effectively influence the design of effective policies.
