Predicting the life satisfaction of education workers in Turkey: a meta-analytic structural equation modeling

Summary: This study aims to establish a model to explain the life satisfaction of education workers by determining the effect size of the relationship between professional burnout, job satisfaction, and life satisfaction. Through meta-analytic structural equation modeling (MASEM) technique, it was found that there are significant effect sizes between the sub-dimensions of professional burnout of education workers, job satisfaction, and life satisfaction. The models constructed between these variables have partial model-data fit. The study also revealed that job satisfaction acts as a partial mediator between the emotional exhaustion and personal accomplishment sub-dimensions of professional burnout and life satisfaction.

A bibliometric mapping of shadow education research: achievements, limitations, and the future
