Psychological capital and innovative work behaviour: The role of mastery orientation and creative self-efficacy

Summary: This study examines how an individual's psychological capital influences employees' innovative work behavior by combining broaden-and-build theory and goal orientation theory. The study was conducted in three-star hotels in and around the capital of India, with data collected from 229 employees and their managers. The findings suggest that psychological capital can enhance innovative work behavior by partially mediating the relationship through mastery orientation, and this effect varies among employees based on their level of CSE.
