The Relationship between Chinese Teachers' Emotional Labor, Teaching Efficacy, and Young Children's Social-Emotional Development and Learning

Sha Xie et al.

Summary: This study explored the relationship between teachers' emotional labor, teaching efficacy, and young children's social-emotional development and learning. The findings indicated that teachers' emotional labor strategies were related to their teaching efficacy, and the impact of emotional labor on children's learning approaches and social-emotional development varied for teachers in different positions. This suggests the importance of providing differentiated guidance and training for teachers in order to promote their teaching efficacy and support young children's development.
