Summary: This study reports the development and application of an amperometric biosensor based on carbon paste electrode modified with laccase enzyme, glutaraldehyde, and gold nanoparticles for the determination of dopamine. The materials were characterized morphologically and chemically. Optimization studies were performed to determine the optimal amount of enzyme and pH level. The biosensor showed a linear concentration range and detection limit when applied with the amperometric technique.
