Growth of yolk-shell CuCo2S4 on NiO nanosheets for high-performance flexible supercapacitors

Summary: This study synthesized yolk-shell structured CuCo2S4 grown on NiO nanosheets (NiO@CuCo2S4) and investigated the effect of different amounts of vulcanizing agent (thiourea) on its electrochemical performance. The optimal NiO@CuCo2S4 composition showed a specific capacitance of 1658 F g-1 at 1 A g-1, suggesting its promising potential for energy storage applications.

Summary: In this study, semicoherent heterojunctions with rich Se vacancies were constructed as cathode to improve the rate capability of battery-type supercapacitors. The cathode exhibited large specific capacity, excellent cycle stability, and ultrahigh rate capability. Additionally, a high-performance hybrid supercapacitor was developed using N/S co-doped porous carbon as anode, showing high energy density and superior cycle performance.

Room temperature boronized and phosphated cobalt-nickel metal-organic framework as the electrode material for supercapacitors

Summary: In this study, boronation and phosphating were conducted on a cobalt-nickel metal-organic framework (MOF) at room temperature, resulting in a sample with excellent electrochemical properties for supercapacitor electrode materials. This research provides a clever approach to enhance the performance of supercapacitors.

Fabrication of broccoli-like 3D nanoflowers of SnS with excellent supercapacitive performance
