Summary: This paper proposes a bi-directional active equalization method using an inductor with multiple balancing paths, which increases equalization speed, reduces energy conversion times, and efficiently prevents batteries from overcharging or undercharging. The impact factors of average balancing current are discussed and evaluated to further enhance battery equalization system performance, with experiments showing good overall equalization performance.
