A flexible short protocol in women with poor ovarian response over 40 years old

Summary: The study compared different ovarian stimulation protocols in patients over 40 years with poor ovarian response, finding that the flexible short protocol (FSP) had advantages in improving oocyte and embryo quality, enhancing embryo implantation potential, and reducing the risk of premature ovulation. Additionally, FSP was helpful in inhibiting the premature luteinizing hormone surge. Further prospective studies are needed to determine the success of FSP in both older and younger patients with poor ovarian response.
