Summary: The study developed a new operational matrix of integration and proposed the Hermite wavelet method to solve the highly nonlinear Jeffery-Hamel flow problem. The results showed that the proposed technique outperformed other methods, and the discussion on the Reynolds number, convergent, and divergent channels in applications of the Jeffery-Hamel flow was also presented.

Summary: In this study, the behavior of fluid flow between rotating discs with multi-wall and single-wall carbon nanotubes-based fluid under various porous medium and convective thermal conditions was investigated. The tangential velocity of MWCNTs-based fluid was found to be higher than that of SWCNTs-based fluid when the porous permeability parameter was small; the effect of Reynolds number varied under different porous permeability conditions.

Summary: The study investigates the thermal characteristics of three types of modified hybrid nanoparticles in terms of heat transfer, focusing on the contribution of viscous dissipation and Joule heating, as well as addressing the shape effects of the nanoparticles. The mathematical model developed takes into account the associated laws and thermal properties of the modified hybrid nanofluid, and numerical simulations are carried out using the Keller box numerical scheme to analyze the thermo-physical properties and heat transfer rate fluctuation. The results indicate an enhancement in temperature profile with increased solid volume fraction of copper oxide nanoparticles, while a lower change in entropy generation is observed for aluminum oxide and copper nanoparticles.

Summary: This study focused on hybrid nanofluid flow with single-walled and multi-walled carbon nanotubes suspended in water, investigating the effects of a magnetic field, thermal radiation, and activation energy on the transfer rate of nanoparticles. Results showed that the SWCNT-(MWCNT/water) hybrid nanofluid is highly effective in cooling and heating applications, with an increase in activation energy leading to higher nanoparticle transfer rates.

Summary: This study numerically investigates the solution of Darcy-Forchheimer flow for hybrid nanofluid using slip conditions. It is found that velocity profiles increase with higher values of mixed convection parameter, while thermal characteristics enhance with increasing values of radiation parameters. This indicates that heat is transmitted more quickly in hybrid nanofluid than in traditional nanofluid.

Summary: Entropy Generation Optimization (EGO) has attracted significant interest for its applications in various fields, including mechanical engineering, air conditioning, heat engines, and others. This study focuses on radiative hybrid nanofluid and conventional nanofluid in the presence of Lorentz forces, analyzing temperature, entropy generation, and thermophysical characteristics. Results show that thermal conductivities increase with stronger thermal radiations and magnetic fields, while entropy production is influenced by dissipative effects and magnetized fluid. The hybrid nanofluid shows enhanced thermal transport properties compared to regular liquid, making it suitable for industrial and technological uses.
