Nanostrucutured MnO2-TiN nanotube arrays for advanced supercapacitor electrode material

Summary: The synergistic effects of MnO2 with high theoretical specific capacitance and TiN with high theoretical conductivity can greatly enhance the electrochemical performance of MnO2-TiN electrode materials. The specific capacitance of δ-MnO2 nanosheets-TiN nanotube arrays is the highest among the samples, reaching 689.88 F g(-1), with excellent cycling stability.

The material demonstrated significant kinetic reversibility, good rate efficiency, and bulk diffusibility of the electroactive ions, making it suitable for high-performance super-capatteries. The fabricated all-solid-state supercapattery exhibited excellent performance, including high rate-specific capacity, low internal resistance, good electrochemical and electrostructural stability, and high energy and power densities.
