Analysis of nonlinear time-fractional Klein-Gordon equation with power law kernel

Sayed Saifullah et al.

Summary: In this study, the nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation with Caputo fractional derivative is investigated. The general solution of the system is derived using the composition of the double Laplace transform with the decomposition method, and it is shown that the obtained solution converges to the exact solution. The validity and accuracy of the proposed method are demonstrated through specific examples, and good agreements are obtained. The results reveal the existence of soliton solutions in the proposed system, and the amplitude of the wave solution increases with deviations in time.

New fractional modelling and control analysis of the circumscribed self-excited spherical strange attractor

Ali Akgul et al.

Summary: The purpose of this study is to present and examine a novel non-integer model of the circumscribed self-excited spherical strange attractor, which has not been worked yet. The fractional-order model is designed using the Caputo-Fabrizio derivative, and the existence of the solution is ensured through Picard-Lindel and fixed-point theories. The stability of the considered fractional-order model is demonstrated using the Picard iteration and fixed point theory approach. The proposed fractional model is solved using the fractional Euler method, and the numerical solutions exhibit considerable chaotic behaviors, validating the accuracy and reliability of the method.

Fractional Klein-Gordon equation with singular mass. II: hypoelliptic case

Marianna Chatzakou et al.

Summary: In this paper, a fractional wave equation for hypoelliptic operators with a singular mass term depending on the spatial variable is considered, and a very weak solution is proved. The analysis is conveniently realized in the setting of graded Lie groups. The uniqueness of the very weak solution and its consistency with the classical solution are also demonstrated, extending and improving previous results on the classical Euclidean Klein-Gordon equation.

Numerical solutions of time fractional Burgers' equation involving Atangana-Baleanu derivative via cubic B-spline functions

Madiha Shafiq et al.

Summary: This paper uses cubic B-spline functions and weighted scheme to achieve numerical solutions for the time fractional Burgers' equation with Atangana-Baleanu derivative. A non-singular kernel is involved in the Atangana-Baleanu fractional derivative. The proposed numerical technique employs finite difference approach and cubic B-spline functions for discretization along temporal and spatial grids, respectively, and it is unconditionally stable and second order convergent in spatial and temporal directions. Numerical examples endorse the applicability and accuracy of this approach.

Convoluted fractional differentials of various forms utilizing the generalized Raina's function description with applications

Rabha W. Ibrahim et al.

Summary: In this paper, a generalized differential operator utilizing Raina's function is constructed, and a formula for normalized analytic functions is built using the operator. A certain class of differential equations involving the suggested operator is studied, and the solution is found to be a hypergeometric function. A fractional coefficient differential operator is also created, and its geometric and analytic features are discussed. Furthermore, the Raina's differential operator is expanded using Jackson's calculus, and its properties in relation to geometric function theory are investigated.

New Type Modelling of the Circumscribed Self-Excited Spherical Attractor

Mohammad Partohaghighi et al.

Summary: This paper employs the fractal-fractional derivative with the Mittag-Leffler kernel to design the fractional-order model of a new circumscribed self-excited spherical attractor. The theorems of Schauder's fixed point and Banach fixed existence theory are used to guarantee the existence of solutions. Approximate solutions to the problem are presented using an effective method, and the efficiency of the technique is demonstrated through different cases of fractal and fractional orders as well as initial conditions.

The performance of a numerical scheme on the variable-order time-fractional advection-reaction-subdiffusion equations

Farnaz Kheirkhah et al.

Summary: This paper presents a highly accurate numerical scheme for a class of one and two-dimensional time-fractional advection-reaction-subdiffusion equations. The scheme uses a fourth order compact finite difference operator and a third-order weighted-shifted Grunwald formula for spatial and temporal discretization, respectively. The stability and convergence of the scheme are addressed, and extensive numerical experiments are conducted to confirm its theoretical analysis and high accuracy. Comparisons with other available schemes in the literature are also made.

Kolade M. Owolabi et al.

Summary: This paper explores the suitability of space fractional-order reaction-diffusion scenarios to model emergent pattern formation in predator-prey models. By considering the local dynamics of the systems, guidelines for parameter choice during numerical simulation are obtained. The biological wave scenarios are verified through presenting numerical results in two dimensions to mimic spatiotemporal dynamics such as spots, stripes and spiral patterns.
