Some Exact Results in QCD-like Theories

Hitoshi Murayama

Summary: This study proposes a controlled approximation to QCD-like theories with massless quarks by employing supersymmetric QCD perturbed by anomaly-mediated supersymmetry breaking. It shows that chiral symmetry is dynamically broken for certain conditions, and the theories lead to nontrivial infrared fixed points for a larger number of flavors. Further investigations suggest that two limits m << Λ and m >> Λ may belong to the same universality class.
