Great enhancement of mechanical features in PLA based composites containing aligned few layer graphene (FLG), the effect of FLG loading, size, and dispersion on mechanical and thermal properties

Hamza El Marouazi et al.

Summary: This study prepared polylactide (PLA) based composite films containing high aspect ratio few layer graphene (FLG) flakes and adsorbed albumin, and found that the mechanical and thermal properties of the films vary significantly with the size, dispersion, and percentage of FLG. High lateral size FLG and well dispersed FLG showed great improvement in the properties of the composite films.
