Insight into Shenqi Jiangtang Granule on the improved insulin sensitivity by integrating in silico and in vivo approaches

Summary: This study aimed to uncover the pharmacological mechanism of Shenqi Jiangtang Granule (SJG) against insulin resistance through network pharmacology and experimental validation. The results showed that SJG exhibited a beneficial effect on ameliorating insulin resistance and had anti-inflammatory activity while improving the hepatic insulin signaling pathway. The study provides a unique insight into the potential therapeutic strategy for curing insulin resistance.

Comparative efficacy of 6 traditional Chinese patent medicines combined with lifestyle modification in patients with prediabetes: A network meta-analysis

Summary: This study evaluated the efficacy of 6 Traditional Chinese patent medicines combined with lifestyle modification in treating prediabetes. Results showed that the addition of Tianqi and Jinqi significantly lowered the incidence rate of diabetes, while Jinlida and Tangmaikang led to significant reductions in HbA1c. Overall, the combination of Tianqi with lifestyle modification showed the most significant effects.
