First-rate manufacturing process of primary air fan (PAF) coal power plant in Indonesia using laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) technology

Ariyana Dwiputra Nugraha et al.

Summary: Recent studies have shown that 3D metal printing with the type laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) can produce primary air fans (PAF) for industrial applications with a quality comparable to existing models. The LPBF manufacturing process is errorless and advantageous for developing precise 3D shapes and sizes. The chemical composition of 3D metal printing materials resembles that of the original model materials, with slightly lower hardness.

Characteristics and performance of carabiner remodeling using 3D printing with graded filler and different orientation methods

Muhammad Akhsin Muflikhun et al.

Summary: This study used a carabiner model to observe the characteristics of the filament deposition process in 3D printing, evaluated the performance after printing, and examined the effects of different design parameters on the remodeling of the carabiner. The research found that the X orientation with 100% infill had the greatest strength at 10.26 MPa, with failure mode occurring at the specimen's edge where the highest load occurred. Additionally, the study discussed the impact of different orientations and infill densities on the quality and efficiency of the product produced using a 3D printing manufacturing process.

An Intelligent 3D Printing Path Planning Algorithm 3D Printing Path Planning Algorithm An Intelligent Sub-Path Planning Algorithm

Huishu Yin et al.

Summary: An intelligent path planning algorithm was proposed for large industrial parts in additive manufacturing, which significantly reduced the number and length of printing paths by concavely convexly decomposing and treating sub-partition connection as a traveling salesman problem. This method provides a new idea for the additive manufacturing process of large industrial parts.
