Carbon emission flow oriented multitasking multi-objective optimization of electricity-hydrogen integrated energy system

Xiang Wei et al.

Summary: This study proposes a grid-connected electricity-hydrogen integrated energy system (EH-IES) for the cooperative analysis of energy flows. An improvement multitasking multi-objective optimization algorithm is applied to optimize the EH-IES operation. The results show that the proposed EH-IES is feasible and efficient, and the algorithm has better convergence performance than other intelligent algorithms.

Mitigations pathways towards sustainable development: Assessing the influence of fiscal and monetary policies on carbon emissions in BRICS economies

Muhammad Zubair Chishti et al.

Summary: This study explores the relationship between macroeconomic policies, consumer spending, energy consumption, and carbon dioxide emissions in BRICS economies from 1985 to 2014. The findings suggest that expansionary fiscal policy exacerbates the harmful effects of CO2e, while contractionary fiscal policy is effective in mitigating these effects.

Modelling and multi-criteria analysis of the sustainability dimensions for the green vehicle routing problem

Hassana Abdullahi et al.

Summary: This study aims to address the sustainable vehicle routing problem by integrating economic, environmental, and social dimensions. It uses a weighted sum and epsilon-constraint model as well as a biased-randomised iterated greedy algorithm. Comprehensive experiments and sensitivity analysis were conducted to investigate the trade-offs and impacts among the dimensions.

Three-Echelon Closed-Loop Supply Chain Network Equilibrium under Cap-and-Trade Regulation

Guitao Zhang et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the impacts of CAT regulation on a three-echelon closed-loop supply chain network and analyzes the effects of carbon caps and EOL collection rate target on enterprise performance with numerical examples. The results suggest that the government should choose reasonable carbon caps to balance economic interests and carbon emissions of enterprises.
