Resurrecting the fraternal twin WIMP miracle

David Curtin et al.

Summary: This paper proposes a modification to the twin Higgs model, called Z(2)FTH, that can address the problem of the twin tau's elastic scattering cross section exceeding experimental bounds. The model incorporates visible and twin hypercharged scalars, which break twin electromagnetism and provide new annihilation channels. The model predicts an acceptable thermal relic abundance for the right-handed twin tau, and has potential for direct and indirect detection experiments as well as LHC searches.

Direct detection of mirror matter in Twin Higgs models

Zackaria Chacko et al.

Summary: This study explores the potential discovery of mirror baryons and electrons in the Mirror Twin Higgs model through direct detection experiments. The event rates are dependent on the ionization fraction and distribution of mirror dark matter in the galaxy. The complementarity of different experiments may allow for determination of the multi-component nature and distribution of mirror dark matter.

Twin quark dark matter from cogenesis

Summary: The fraternal twin Higgs scenario has been expanded to include a novel dark matter candidate and a mechanism for generating matter/antimatter asymmetry in both sectors. The model discusses the origin of the asymmetry and highlights promising discovery channels in future experiments.

Cosmology of the Twin Higgs without explicit Z2 breaking

Hugues Beauchesne et al.

Summary: The paper investigates how the Mirror Twin Higgs could be modified to be compatible with current cosmological constraints without explicit Z(2) breaking. It presents two simple models, one that can solve the N-eff problem and bring the abundance of mirror atoms to an allowed level, and another that leads to mirror neutron dark matter.
