On the W&Y interpretation of high-energy Drell-Yan measurements

Riccardo Torre et al.

Summary: This paper provides theoretical predictions of high-energy neutral and charged Drell-Yan differential cross-section measurements, including new physics effects at the Next-to-Leading order in QCD. The predictions are obtained from SM Monte Carlo simulations through analytic reweighting, enabling the exploration of all relevant interactions. Projections for the sensitivity of LHC and HL-LHC measurements are presented, along with quantification of the impact of several sources of uncertainties.

Top, Higgs, diboson and electroweak fit to the Standard Model effective field theory

John Ellis et al.

Summary: The search for effective field theory deformations of the Standard Model is conducted through a global approach in the framework of the Standard Model Effective Field Theory. The analysis includes constraints on the coefficients of SMEFT operators and explores specific ultra-violet completions of the Standard Model, but does not find significant evidence for physics beyond the Standard Model.

High-energy EFT probes with fully differential Drell-Yan measurements

Giuliano Panico et al.

Summary: The study investigates the potential of fully-differential measurements of high-energy dilepton cross-sections at the LHC to probe heavy new physics encapsulated in dimension-6 interaction operators. Results show a considerable sensitivity improvement relative to single-differential measurements due to the possibility of probing more directions in the seven-dimensional parameter space at the interference level. The reduction of parton distribution function uncertainties in the fully-differential fit is also found to play a significant role.

Collider probes of real triplet scalar dark matter

Cheng-Wei Chiang et al.

Summary: The study focuses on the discovery prospects of a real triplet extension of the Standard Model scalar sector at the LHC and a potential 100 TeV pp collider, with a specific emphasis on the scenario where the neutral triplet scalar serves as a dark matter candidate. By analyzing current and prospective collider data, the research provides exclusion limits and discovery potential for the triplet scalar, as well as investigates constraints on dark matter direct detection.

Obscure Higgs boson at colliders

Priyotosh Bandyopadhyay et al.

Summary: The study considers an extension of the Standard Model with a complex hypercharge zero triplet scalar, where one of the charged Higgs bosons remains purely triplet and suitable as a dark matter candidate. The pure triplet charged Higgs leads to displaced signatures and its sensitivity has been studied at LHC and MATHUSLA. The prospects of such exotic scalars at present and future hadron/muon colliders have been explored by calculating their production cross section and dominant decay modes.
