Anti-Aggregation of Nanosized CoS2 for Stable K-Ion Storage: Insights into Aggregation-Induced Electrode Failures

This study reveals that the aggregation of nanosized TMCs during conversion reaction is the main cause of electrode failures and proposes an anti-aggregation strategy by using carbon nanoshells. The confined aggregation within the nanoshells improves the structural and electrochemical stability of the electrode.
