A dual-response ratiometric fluorescence imprinted sensor based on metal-organic frameworks for ultrasensitive visual detection of 4-nitrophenol in environments

Jinli Fu et al.

Summary: A dual-response ratiometric fluorescence imprinted sensor based on visible/near-infrared emission was developed for ultrasensitive, selective, and visual detection of 4-nitrophenol. The sensor exhibited a wide concentration response range with good linear response in the low concentration ranges of 0.08 pM and 0.05 mu M. Additionally, the observable fluorescence color changes with the naked eye provide a quick and visual method for identifying the target substance.

Surface imprinted polymer on a metal-organic framework for rapid and highly selective adsorption of sulfamethoxazole in environmental samples

Guohao Cheng et al.

Summary: Hierarchically ordered porous vinyl-functionalized UIO-66 was utilized to prepare a surface molecular imprinted polymer (MIP-IL@UIO-66) for the rapid and highly selective adsorption of sulfamethoxazole (SMZ) in water. The resulting MIP-IL@UIO-66 showed ultrafast equilibrium rate, large adsorption capability, excellent adsorption selectivity, and good reusability. The adsorption performance of SMZ onto MIP-IL@UIO-66 was superior to that of a commercial solid phase extraction (SPE) adsorbent, with recoveries of 91-106% in water, soil, egg, and pork samples.

A magnetic molecularly imprinted polymer hierarchical composite adsorbent embedded with a zinc oxide carbon foam nanocomposite for the extraction of sulfonamides

Ananya Kliangsuwan et al.

Summary: A hierarchical composite adsorbent was used to extract, preconcentrate and determine sulfonamides. The zinc oxide carbon foam nanocomposite improved the adsorption, while the magnetic molecularly imprinted polymer provided specific recognition cavities and enabled easy separation. The developed strategy showed good linearity, low LOD and LOQ, and high extraction recoveries with low RSDs.
