An Evaluation of an Innovative Exercise to Relieve Chronic Low Back Pain in Sedentary Workers

Pongsatorn Saiklang et al.

Summary: The study examined the effectiveness of a supported dynamic lumbar extension with the abdominal drawing-in maneuver (ADIM) technique on various factors related to prolonged sitting in chronic low back pain (CLBP) patients. Results showed that the intervention had a protective effect on detrimental stature change and deep trunk muscle fatigue, while also preventing an increase in pain intensity. This intervention is important for preventing low back pain problems in individuals who sit for prolonged periods.
