Re-expression of REG family and DUOXs genes in CRC organoids by co-culturing with CAFs

Summary: Organoids derived from surgical specimens of colorectal carcinomas were established and evaluated for gene expression profiles with and without co-culture with cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs). It was found that the co-culture system partially reproduced the tumor microenvironment by re-expressing genes related to immune response and external stimuli in the organoids.
