Crosstalk in Mechanomyographic Signals From Elbow Flexor Muscles During Submaximal to Maximal Isometric Flexion, Pronation, and Supination Torque Tasks

Irsa Talib et al.

Summary: This study investigated crosstalk in mechanomyographic signals from elbow flexors during isometric muscle actions at varying effort levels. The results showed that crosstalk increased with higher muscle activity levels, with the magnitude varying among different muscle pairs and showing a high positive correlation with the crosstalk levels between biceps brachii and brachialis muscles.

Summary: This study found that hand thickness, forearm circumference, and muscle activation have strong correlations with wrist torque, with muscle activation playing a significant role in influencing wrist force output.
