Observation of multiple nodal lines in SmSbTe

Sabin Regmi et al.

Summary: In this Letter, we report a systematic study of the electronic structure of SmSbTe and identify multiple Dirac nodes forming nodal lines in the bulk Brillouin zone, as well as a surface Dirac-like state. This study is significant in understanding the topological electronic structure of LnSbTe materials.

Magnetotransport studies of the Sb square-net compound LaAgSb2 under high pressure and rotating magnetic fields

Kazuto Akiba et al.

Summary: The study investigates the magnetotransport properties of LaAgSb2, revealing a transition to a normal metallic phase without charge density waves under pressure. Angular-dependent Shubnikov-de Haas oscillations and butterflylike magnetoresistance patterns were observed, confirming the two-dimensional nature of the Fermi surface. The anisotropic Dirac band dominates transport properties, with momentum-dependent relaxation time playing a key role in large magnetoresistance effects.

Evidence for nesting-driven charge density wave instabilities in the quasi-two-dimensional material LaAgSb2

Alexei Bosak et al.

Summary: CDWs are commonly encountered electronic phases in low-dimensional metallic systems, driven by phonon softening. The Kohn anomalies in three dimensions are visualized through the momentum distribution of X-ray diffuse scattering intensity, and the quantitative explanation of electronic susceptibility and anisotropic electron-phonon coupling is crucial for CDW formation.

Spectroscopic evidence for the realization of a genuine topological nodal-line semimetal in LaSbTe

Yang Wang et al.

Summary: Nodal line semimetals have unique topological electronic structures and exotic physical properties, with only a few compounds experimentally verified; LaSbTe is confirmed as a genuine nodal line semimetal with Dirac nodes that can dictate macroscopic physical properties.

Successive destruction of charge density wave states by pressure in LaAgSb2

Kazuto Akiba et al.

Summary: In our comprehensive study of LaAgSb2 under high pressure, we observed unique CDW transitions that disappeared at critical pressures. Changes in Hall conductivity indicated the emergence of a two-dimensional Fermi surface, and significant enhancements in oscillation frequency were observed in a limited pressure range.
