The influence of temperature on the elastic properties of body-centered cubic reduced activation steels

Xiaojie Li et al.

Summary: A first-principles based modeling approach is used to study the effect of temperature on the elastic parameters of Fe-rich solid solutions with chemical and magnetic disorders. Alloying effects play an important role in determining the elastic constants relative to pure Fe in both magnetically ordered and disordered phases.
