Coherent Coupling of Two Remote Magnonic Resonators Mediated by Superconducting Circuits

Yi Li et al.

Summary: In this study, we demonstrate microwave-mediated distant magnon-magnon coupling on a superconducting circuit platform by incorporating chip-mounted single-crystal Y3Fe5O12 (YIG) spheres. Coherent level repulsion and dissipative level attraction between the magnon modes of the two YIG spheres are successfully demonstrated. This research opens new avenues toward exploring integrated hybrid magnonic networks for coherent information processing on a quantum-compatible superconducting platform.

Frequency multiplication by collective nanoscale spin-wave dynamics

Chris Koerner et al.

Summary: This article discusses the process of frequency multiplication in modern electronics and the potential of devices based on spin waves. It shows that megahertz-range excitation frequencies in a soft magnetic material can cause switching effects on a micrometer scale, leading to phase-locked spin-wave emission in the GHz range. This research highlights the potential of spintronics in various applications.

Parametron on magnetic dot: Stable and stochastic operation

Takahiko Makiuchi et al.

Summary: The study investigated magnetization dynamics induced by parametric excitation in a magnetic dot using ac spin pumping and inverse spin-Hall effects. It identified an Ising-like pair of states that can be stabilized in a controllable manner under the excitation. By increasing the excitation power, stochastic transitions between states were observed, with the probability of each state occurrence tunable by additional microwaves, enabling applications in probabilistic bit operation.

Interferometric control of magnon-induced nearly perfect absorption in cavity magnonics

J. W. Rao et al.

Summary: This study demonstrates a method to achieve single-beam perfect absorption in a cavity magnonic device, with interference effects controlled by adjusting the strength and direction of an external magnetic field. The interference also produces a level attraction-like hybridization, showing that such hybridization can be realized surprisingly in a coherently coupled system.

Nanoscale magnonic Fabry-Perot resonator for low-loss spin-wave manipulation

Huajun Qin et al.

Summary: The study demonstrates reconfigurable spin-wave transport in a hybrid YIG-based material structure, providing a practical route for beyond-CMOS magnonic computing. This is achieved through a local frequency downshift of the spin-wave dispersion relation in a continuous YIG film caused by dynamic dipolar coupling to a ferromagnetic metal nanostripe, enabling programmable control of propagating spin waves on a fraction of their wavelength.

Magnonic Frequency Comb through Nonlinear Magnon-Skyrmion Scattering

Zhenyu Wang et al.

Summary: The study investigates the generation of a magnonic frequency comb in magnonic systems through a nonlinear scattering process involving three magnons, with the mode spacing of the comb tunable by adjusting the breathing-mode frequency of the skyrmion. The theoretical prediction was confirmed through micromagnetic simulations, suggesting a potential pathway for observing frequency comb structures in magnonic devices and exploring fundamental nonlinear physics in spintronic platforms.

Spin-wave localization and guiding by magnon band structure engineering in yttrium iron garnet

Rouven Dreyer et al.

Summary: This article introduces a method in spintronics that uses the propagation of spin-wave excitations in magnetically ordered materials to transport and process information, focusing on the properties of ferrimagnetic insulator yttrium iron garnet and the research on spin waves using imaging techniques. The study shows that wave-vector selection can effectively suppress dispersion effects, enabling local measurements of spin relaxation, and achieves higher control of magnon propagation through wave-vector selectivity.
