The potential of hydrogen hydrate as a future hydrogen storage medium

Ali Davoodabadi et al.

Summary: Hydrogen is considered the future fuel with significant energy properties, and hydrogen hydrates are recognized as one of the most promising materials for hydrogen storage with low energy consumption, safety, cost-effectiveness, and favorable environmental features. The immediate challenges for technological translation in this storage medium lie in the charging rate of H-2 and long cyclic performance, rather than storage capacity.
