This article discusses three cases of sea breezes observed at Hong Kong International Airport and provides results from numerical simulations, including wavy structures, vortices, and large changes in temperature and humidity associated with the sea breeze.
This article considers three cases of sea breezes as observed at Hong Kong International Airport, together with the results of numerical simulations, including wavy structures within the sea breeze, vortices along the sea breeze front and large jumps in temperature and relative humidity associated with the sea breeze. The model simulations provide a reasonable reproduction of such features.
