The effects of implementing management practices on somatic cell count levels in bovine milk

Summary: The study found that most farms lack efficient management practices, resulting in significant product quality loss, while only a small percentage have adopted a full set of techniques. Simple management practices including regular cleaning of milking lines, strip cup tests, and washing teats with water before milking could be adopted to improve milk quality.
