Analysis of activity participation and time use decisions of partners: the context of low-and high-income households

Summary: The study shows that female heads of high-income households are more likely to participate in recreational activities and spend more time on them, while mothers in low-income families tend to spend more time on household maintenance. In decision-making, low-income families exhibit substitution effects, whereas high-income households show complementary effects.
