Interface imprinted polymers with well-oriented recognition sites for selective purification of hemoglobin

Canan Armutcu et al.

Summary: This study introduces a novel strategy involving sacrificial metal oxide particles to design interface imprinted polymers, resulting in membranes with high rebinding capacity and excellent selectivity. The use of zinc oxide particles not only preserves imprint cavities in the polymer network but also enhances template removal and rebinding kinetics, making it a simple and effective method for biomacromolecule separation.

A porous molecularly imprinted nanofilm for selective and sensitive sensing of an anticancer drug ruxolitinib

M. Emin corman et al.

Summary: A novel methodology was used to generate a porous molecularly imprinted material for highly selective and sensitive recognition of the Janus kinase inhibitor ruxolitinib (RUX). The porous MIP modified glassy carbon electrode linearly responded to RUX concentration up to 0.01 pM with a limit of detection of 0.00191 pM under optimized conditions. This method improves the accessibility of binding sites by generating porous material, resulting in highly selective and sensitive recognition of drugs in pharmaceutical dosage form and synthetic human serum samples.

Simple and highly sensitive assay of axitinib in dosage form and biological samples and its electrochemical behavior on the boron-doped diamond and glassy carbon electrodes

Ahmet Cetinkaya et al.

Summary: Axitinib is a potent inhibitor with high selectivity, and voltammetric methods were developed for its quantification using glassy carbon and boron-doped diamond electrodes. The oxidation process of axitinib showed different control mechanisms on the two types of electrodes, and the calibration curves were obtained for quantification in pharmaceutical and biological samples.
