Cortical Tracking of Speech: Toward Collaboration between the Fields of Signal and Sentence Processing

Eleonora J. Beier et al.

Summary: Recent studies have shown the potential of cortical tracking methods in investigating auditory language processing, particularly in the field of sentence processing. Limited collaboration between psycholinguistics and signal processing may be due to differences in theoretical background and methodological constraints. Balancing the methodological constraints of both fields could lead to a better understanding of language processing.

A Novel H2 Approach to FIR Prediction Under Disturbances and Measurement Errors

Jorge Ortega-Contreras et al.

Summary: A novel approach for H-2 FIR prediction and biased-constrained suboptimal H-2 FIR filtering algorithm are proposed. The performance of the H-2-OUFIR predictor is investigated and compared with Kalman and unbiased FIR predictors.
