Design of metalloenzyme mimics based on self-assembled peptides for organophosphorus pesticides detection

Yayu Yang et al.

Summary: This research developed non-toxic and high-performance metalloenzyme mimics for the detection of OPs. By examining the effect of active sites and fibril formation, the optimal metalloenzyme mimic was selected. Furthermore, an electrochemical sensor of OPs was developed by combining the optimal metalloenzyme mimic with NiCo2O4. The sensor could determine the amounts of OPs in actual samples within 15 minutes by monitoring the SWV signals.

Ultrasensitive Electrochemiluminescence Biosensor Based on Closed Bipolar Electrode for Alkaline Phosphatase Detection in Single Liver Cancer Cell

Xiao-Yan Yang et al.

Summary: An ultrasensitive electrochemiluminescence biosensor based on a closed bipolar electrode was proposed for the detection of alkaline phosphatase. The sensitivity of the system was greatly enhanced by utilizing enzyme catalysis for signal amplification and electrodeposition of Au nanoparticles on the cathode surface. This biosensor showed high sensitivity and specificity, with a detection limit as low as 3.7 aM, and successfully realized ALP detection in single cells.
