A Hybrid Deep Learning Model With Attention-Based Conv-LSTM Networks for Short-Term Traffic Flow Prediction

Summary: In this paper, a deep learning based model utilizing attention Conv-LSTM and Bi-LSTM modules is proposed to achieve better short-term traffic flow prediction performance. The model automatically extracts inherent features of traffic flow data and captures the importance of different time periods as well as long-term trends. Extensive experimental results demonstrate the superior prediction performance of the proposed model over existing approaches.
